 About Veritas Dolls
Veritas is the Latin word for truth.
This is our sweet neutered boy, Prince. He is from the very first Veritas Dolls litter, courtesy of Skye and Pip. Both his mama and his daddy have gentle, loving dispositions, and Prince carries all the best from both parents. Nevertheless, we had to make breeding decisions that were in the best interests of us all, and since Pip has given us so many fabulous seal mitted Ragdolls, neutering Prince was the right choice. Prince now enjoys his place as a spoiled little boy in his big man body!
Veritas Dolls is a small, dedicated breeder and exhibitor located in the state of Maine, USA. Our Ragdolls are loved as pets first and foremost.
Skye is one of our first Ragdolls. To pick her up, we flew to Denver, where her breeder, one of the nicest ladies ever, JaNeil Cillessen of Dollhouse Ragdolls picked us up. Since then, JaNeil has been a valued mentor with great knowledge, compassion, and patience.
SkyDancer gave us three beautiful litters...one with Pip and two with Tye. She now reigns as a spayed former queen, but always jumps in to help wash kittens, snuggle them, and teach the babies how to properly chase and catch feather teasers!
We strive to provide a loving, healthy environment that fosters the naturally docile Ragdoll nature.
This is our missing mitten/glove/sock basket. Tye and Harmony love to sleep among the mismatcheditems.
Veritas Dolls are raised underfoot alongside teenagers, a bunny, and two large dogs.

We have selected our cats carefully from among some of the most respected Ragdoll catteries in the United States.

Our babies are well-socialized, affectionate, and never caged unless absolutely necessary for their own safety or health.

Before we introduce new cats to our cattery, we quarantine the newcomers in a separate, well-supplied room--not a cage--for a full two weeks.

Newcomers see our veterinarian for a well-baby visit within forty-eight hours of entering our home. All of our breeders are tested for HCM, FIV, and FeLV; their blood type is determined prior to mating

Veritas Dolls, is registered with TICA.
Nimmi and Willow
We provide all our cats with continuous access to automatic waterers, Drinkwell fountains, a blend of high quality dry kibble, and wet food daily.
