Welcome! Thank you for visiting Veritas Dolls, home of happy, healthy Ragdolls in Southern Maine.
Maddie, the start of it all, was born in a friend's garage of an ordinary housecat dam and an unknown sire. She was to live for only eleven weeks, but she is likely the sole reason I ever discovered the Ragdoll breed. Her look and temperament were unique, and a few weeks after her death, I accidentally stumbled across a photo of a blue mitted Ragdoll. Thus began my journey into the cat fancy. It was Kismet. Maddie had no pedigree, but she will always be the one I consider my very first Ragdoll.
DGC Veritas Dolls Gaelic Fire ("Aodhan") We are so proud of this young man! This cuddly sweetheart is from our first litter out of SkyDancer and SnowTyger. His nickname means "fire," and it is an appropriate glimpse into the subtle yet burning embers that fuel our lovely blue lynx point bicolor. While his temperament is a wonderful reflection of his daddy's ultra-mellow nature, he also reveals his mama's joie-de-vivre, a distinct fire in the belly for all that is good in life. We hope you will enjoy his striking beauty and know that he is just as lovely in his Ragdoll "purr-sonality."
CH Veritas Dolls Caroline Kennedy ("Caroline") This lovely seal point bicolor young lady is the daughter of Jackie O and Pip. Both of Caroline's parents are experienced show ring achievers with incredibly plush coats, deep point color, and nice markings. Her loving nature is heart-warming to say the least; this girl purrs at her people family from across the room. Caroline is truly a cherished beauty both inside and out.
